Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
- Sliced Peaches-You can use either fresh, frozen or canned peaches in this recipe. If you are using canned peaches, I like to rinse them under cold water to rinse all the syrup off of them to cut the sweetness.
- Butter-The topping of the cobbler resembles a biscuit topping. It is buttery, crumbly, and delicious. I use vegan butter to keep this vegan but if you aren't plant-based, you can use regular unsalted butter.
- Brown Sugar-You can swap this for white sugar if wanted.
A complete list of ingredients and amounts is located on the recipe card below.
Instructions
Step 1: Using a fork, cut the butter into the flour, sugar, and baking powder until the butter resembles small pebbles.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, stir together peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and cinnamon, until well combined.
Step 3: Divide the peach slices between the greased ramekins.
Step 4: Divide the biscuit topping between the ramekins.
Step 5: Air fry at 370 degrees for 15 minutes, checking halfway through. If the topping is getting too brown, cover loosely with foil.

Top Tips
- All air fryers cook differently. Cooking time may vary among different air fryers. If you're unsure of your specific air fryer's cooking time for these cobblers, start checking for doneness after 7 minutes.
- Finish these cobblers off with some creamy vanilla ice cream. The textures and flavors of the cold ice cream with the warm cobbler is perfect!
- If your peaches are extra juicy and you prefer a thicker consistency, add an extra teaspoon or two of cornstarch to the peaches.
Recipe FAQ's
The key to making peach cobbler not runny is by adding in some cornstarch to the mixture. The cornstarch will help to thicken the fruit mixture.
Peach cobbler should be a little gooey in the middle due to the buttery, biscuit topping and soft, cooked peaches.
Most people prefer to peel the peaches for peach cobbler. I find that the skin can be tough so to get the perfect soft texture, I do peel the peaches.
I always recommend using frozen peaches over canned peaches because often the canned peaches are preserved in syrup which drives up the sugar content.
