Can we talk for a second about the rage of the beyond burger? Growing up, I ate a lot of veggie burgers. I was never a huge fan of meat so I would often try vegetarian options. Let me tell you, 10-15 years ago, the options weren't great. Having gone completely meat-free the past couple of years, I am thrilled that there are so many options these days for people who are vegan or vegetarian. My husband is a huge fan of Burger King, I know, gross. However he absolutely loves the Burger King Impossible Burger! This burger tastes similar and is so delicious!
This Vegan Impossible Burger pairs great with this Amish Broccoli Salad these Air Fryer Waffle Fries, these Air Fryer Steak Fries, this Bright and Fresh Lemon Orzo Salad, these Frozen Sweet Potato Fries in the Air Fryer, Amish Potato Salad or this Warm Basil Pesto Potato Salad

Ingredient Notes
- Beyond Burgers- You can find beyond burgers in most grocery stores these days. Check where you would normally find the meat, I am finding more and more grocery stores having a dedicated plant-based meat section! If you can't find it in the refrigerated section, check the frozen aisle, I have found them there as well! If you can't find beyond burgers, you can use any plant-based burgers that you enjoy cooking!
- Burger Toppings- I love topping my burgers with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. However, feel free to top your burgers with whatever your favorite toppings are!
- Buns- You can't forget the burger buns! Whether you choose to go the traditional route or you prefer a lettuce wrap, don't forget the buns!

FAQ's
Cooking beyond burgers in the air fryer is my favorite way to cook them. The air fryer is not messy and the cleanup is easy. Additionally, the air fryer gives the burgers a nice crust that mimics the grill.
According to their website, Beyond Meat sources proteins, fats, minerals, flavors and colors, and carbohydrates from plant-based sources like peas, beans, potatoes and brown rice.
According to the American Heart Association, eating more plant protein instead of meat may improve heart health. However, some plant meat like Beyond Burgers does contain added sodium and may be higher in fats. I love eating Beyond burgers as a treat every once in a while and they are perfect when you are cooking for a crowd that isn't all vegan as they taste very similar to beef and are a good choice when going to a cookout.
